These animations were created for a YouTube travel documentary about New York City, with the goal of introducing the city in a way that felt energetic, playful, and unmistakably alive. Guided by the director’s vision, the visuals embrace bold color palettes, layered textures, and graphic collage elements to capture the vibrant personality and fun streets of New York. The animation was produced using Cinema 4D, After Effects, and Redshift, combining 3D and motion design to create dynamic, stylized moments, from flying into the city to moving through its iconic neighborhoods. To add character and realism to the motion, the yellow taxi was fully rigged in Cinema 4D, allowing for expressive movement that enhanced the sense of energy and momentum throughout the sequence.
